COMIC CON 2008!

So I went to Comic Con on Saturday.. and it was my first one ever.. and gosh.. it was the best thing i've ever seen! It's unfortunate that I was there for only that Saturday but I had a great time! It's totally worth it. I usually go to SIGGRAPH to get my stuff looked at and to look for jobs etc. But i think Comic Con was a better fit only because its all about art and illustration and imagination. While SIGGRAPH is more about business and professionalism. Here are some pix i took:

Overall I LOVED IT!! I recommend it to anyone and everyone! I got to meet comic artists and talk to them and everyone is sooo nice and chill. I can't wait til next year!!

Fun links

So i just installed "stumble!" to my Firefox browser and its just about the coolest thing i've seen! It uses my preferences and by clicking stumble it gives u random websites based on your interests! here are a few that I found to be really really cool and interesting!

http://www.zefrank.com/scribbler/

You do a little scribble on the screen and after you're done with the drawing.. you hit the start scribbler button and the computer does their version of your scribble!

http://www.maninthedark.com/

Flash based, its creepy but kinda cool. For your own entertainment :)

http://www.sketchswap.com/

Cool site where u can sketch something and select swap.. and you recieve a sketch that someone else has made :)

http://bomomo.com/

Well those are all i have for now! Ill post more when i find 'em!

Doodles

It's been a lil while since my last post. Just been busy at work. It kinda sucks bc I'm at work 13 hours a day (8am-9pm) which leaves me tired at the end of the night.. which means no drawing! So I've kind of lost my motivation to draw which makes me saaaad! Because right now is the time to draw as much as I can! Comic- Con is coming up and so is Siggraph! I need something to show! Hopefully I can kick my rear into gear and pump up some cool stuff.. yeah? So i started getting myself into some digital painting yesterday (bc im pretty weak at it).. and here's some screen shots of what i worked on...
